Designing for users,
from the lens of a globetrotter
NEW YORK, JUL 6, 2026 — I grew up hopping around the globe. I've spent 2 years in Japan, 4 in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), 12 in Korea (Gyeonggi-do), and 8 in the US: Texas → Ithaca → Boston → NYC, where I am now.
Moving around has instilled a naturally observant nature in me. I have always been hyper-curious about my surroundings, analyzing people in nano detail and switching gears to fit myself into new cultures.
My past experiences as a hip-hop rapper, journalist, professional lecturer, and project manager have shaped my identity as an open-minded designer crafting accessible and refreshing digital experiences. ■

How I design · working principles
Execution over process. Process has value, but nobody cares about process if the outcome disappoints.
Bias to action.
Sometimes I move before every requirement is perfectly defined. When I believe something should exist, I build it.
Feedback driven.
I use prototypes and AI to drive alignment and clarity fast. A rough build in front of a real user beats a polished deck in front of a committee.
Clarity in ambiguity.
I thrive in low-context, complex environments. Moving between countries meant decoding new systems constantly, and abstract problems are where I find clarity fastest.
Bridge, don't silo.
At Cypris I sit between customer success, engineering, and product on purpose. The best design decisions happen in translation, not in handoff.

Currently at Cypris
First-ever product designer, working as an all-in-one product person.
Sole designer across the whole product
I've rebuilt the product from the ground up multiple times, built our design system from scratch, and worked on every frontend feature release. I also brief account managers and customer service on upcoming upgrades, run demos on customer calls and bring that feedback into the build, and help define the roadmap for our AI products.
